Whoever said God doesn’t have a sense of humor hasn’t lived long enough to discover how incorrect that statement is.
Before I get started let me rewind real quick because it’s been a while since I updated you all…
Last June I took the courageous decision to stop any and all medical treatment after witnessing someone dying in the waiting area.
Now if you know anything about cancer, you know how quickly it can spread – even while being on treatments sometimes. So I heard all the negative talk and many opinions I never asked for concerning my decision. But none of that mattered. My husband said okay and we gave my body and mind a much needed break.
Now fast forward to March of this year – 2025 – I became very sick very quickly. I ended up in the hospital and I had already been thinking of speaking to my oncologist and doing a follow up appointment to see where my health was at. Well, due to the emergent condition I was in, they ran a series of tests that I would’ve needed prior to beginning any course of treatment. – Do you see how God truly does work everything for your good? – So when I reached out to my oncologist, within the week they had set up an appointment for me and the following week I was scheduled for my treatment already.
Which brings us to today.
April 1st, 2025 – April Fool’s Day 😂
Do you see what I mean when I say that God does indeed have a great sense of humor?
All this to say, I am officially back on treatment.
I am so expectant of what God is going to do.
By His Grace, I am still here.
& I continue to trust in Him – every step of the way.
NOTHING is too hard for God.
