God you are still GOOD!

We mistakenly think that God is only good when things are going good in our lives.

God isn’t just good when life is rainbows and butterflies. His goodness does not depend on our life’s circumstances. God is ALWAYS good; no matter what our lives may currently look like.

God continues to be good when we suffer loss. God is still good when we are faced with trials and tribulations. God is still good when difficulties arise. God is still good when tragedy strikes.

God’s goodness does not depend on how “easy” life is going. God is good because He is righteous. God is good because He is holy. God is good because He is perfect. God is good because He gave His only son so that we may not perish, but have eternal life with Him. God is good because that is simply who He is; that is His character.

So today, instead of focusing on what you lack; focus on His goodness.

Do not forget about His loving sacrifice He did for you and for me.

God is A L W A Y S good. God loves you, all of you.

Let’s never forget that.
